The Moville Parish CE Scheme is currently carrying out painting and maintenance projects at the Maritime Museum in Greencastle as well as other community projects in the Moville,Redcastle,Drung and Muff areas.
The CE Scheme workers are painting and maintaining interior and exterior projects at the Greencastle Maritime Museum that include the laying of concrete platforms for display of aviation and ship propellers outside the museum as well as painting and maintaining various anchors and ship artifacts in the front area of the museum.
Work has also been carried out on re-pointing the capstones and gravel base of the maritime monument in front of the maritime museum which is an important local attraction for visitors and locals alike.
Ongoing maintenance and preservation work is being undertaken by the Moville Parish CE Scheme workers in time for the Summer season so that visitors as well as local people can enjoy everything the Maritime Museum has to offer in both inside and outside display space in time for the Summer.
The Moville Parish CE Scheme work will continue in Greencastle as well as the other community projects in the Moville,Redcastle,Drung and Muff areas throughout the year supporting local and community projects in North East Inishowen.
