Research conducted by the Centre for Maritime Archaeology was recently featured in the Sunday Times. The article, entitled “Stone Age site found under Lough Foyle”, described the first attempt on the island of Ireland to conduct a systematic archaeological survey and excavation of a submerged prehistoric site.
